Fort Worth geeks and nerds unite! Mingle with some of your favorite science fiction, fantasy, and horror authors and artists as well as fellow fans. This year we're featuring authors Charlaine Harris (HBO's True Blood) and Yoon Ha Lee (The Machineries of Empire), in addition to over 50 authors, artists, scientists, and other panelists.

Discussion panels are on a wide variety of topics such as history, science, writing, mythology, productivity, neuroscience, Q&A sessions with our guests of honor, science fiction, fantasy, horror, humor, cinema, creating languages, art, poetry, and more. There are also non-traditional entertainment panels such as the Sci-Fi Spelling Bee, a Poetry Slam, and Celebrity Artemis, in which our guests and panelists attempt to defend the universe in a spaceship simulator.

There's an extensive collection of board games available for open gaming, as well as vendors with books, jewelry, costumes and props, and more items, many of which are hand-crafted by local artisans.

Come tour the Monolithic Dome Institute, where you will see several types of domes and how they are made. There is a guided tour of a 2700 sq ft home, and self-guided tour of the complex that includes Bruco the caterpillar, a gazeedome, cabins, rental units, and more.

Tours are available Monday-Friday from 10 am until 4 pm. No appointment necessary, unless with a large group. Free to the public. To being a tour, please check in with the receptionist at the main office.
