Poag Mahone's
Poag Mahone's is very quickly becoming one of my favorite Fort Worth spots.
This is your typical college type bar, but with an old school kick. Deep woody colors and an old Irish pub feel make this a great place to just sit and chill, play Golden Tee, or head over to the pool tables or dart boards to show your skills.
They have a jukebox that is usually playing good music, but I didn't get the chance to check out what all is on it. They have several beers on tap that are out of the "norm" like Fireman4 and Smithwick and a ton in bottles. Oh, and they actually sell PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon) in a can for about $1.50. The bartenders are very friendly and knowledgable. Several have been there since before they moved to the new location. You can find many friendly regulars sitting at the bar chatting with the bartenders or talking to anyone around.
