The City of Forth Worth officially offers 231 parks, with 159 of those classified as neighborhood parks. Within these parks, Fort Worth residents and visitors can enjoy a range of activities including:

• 175 athletic fields
• 98 tennis courts
• 6 golf courses
• Trinity Art Park Pavillion
• 22 Botanical gardens
• ...and miles and miles of hiking, biking and nature trails

The Parks and Community Services Department's (PACSD) long-standing tradition of providing such quality park and recreation opportunities led to its recognition by the National Recreation and Park Association as a National Gold Medal Winner.
